See the link in regards to the bombing of an ISIS or ISIL radio station "Voice of the Caliphate" as reported by the BBC.

I guess we should be happy that in North America all they do is fire you and send you home and not in a pine box.
-
Maybe they should change formats....
-
...Or rally against people with fewer weapons ;D
+-RH
-
maybe chop their own heads off...
sorry guys and gals I'm in a bad mood today <heh>
-
Now that's what I call effective jamming ;D

I saw news of this story via the MT-Shortwave/Monitoring times blog, and I think my thought process ran something like 'Oh, thank goodness.' Not that anyone *died*, because no thanks generally, but because the creeptastic station is off the air. I still remember the initial post in this forum about it bringing terror to eastern Afghanistan. Still makes me shudder.

I haven't heard from Haiji Al Fansoom in a while, may peace be upon him. The last time he checked in with me he was staying with his Kalasha in-laws in Pakistan and running a radio station that "makes horsey noises."
He was always crazy about Mr. Ed and Sarah Jessica Parker. A dangerous pursuit that will no doubt be the end of him.
-
Sarah wonders if someone could pass her the horsey sauce? Thank you.
-
I thought Commander Bunny banned you from Arby's after he got the shift lead job?
-
That was Burger King...
-
Aren't they both owned by KFC? Word in Kentucky he's head horsey sauce extractor. He doesn't use a machine, he drains those stallions the old fashioned way, by hand.
-
... EWWWWWW!
-
And Arby's loses another customer.
