Title: Gerald Bull and his supergun.........
Post by: Pigmeat on February 19, 2016, 0027 UTC
Al, I have Bull's plans for the Babylon gun. I own several prime hillsides and have open access to a junkyard with heavy duty used sections of gas pipeline. What say we bolt them together and try to put a dx'er in orbit? I think you know the one I have in mind.

One question, do we do our tests with cats, nutria, or watermelons? I initially thought of pumpkins or alligators, but that guy in Florida stole our thunder by launching an alligator into a Wendy's last week. The former has been done, albeit the pumpkins falling far short of low Earth orbit.

What do you think?

Call the Alumni Association, we're putting pumpkins in space.

When we perfect that, we'll work on a vehicle to deliver angry bobcats to the ISS.

The first time I watched the pumpkin drop, a piece of pumpkin shrapnel caught me in the right shin. I almost lost my leg.

Yes. And a lot of people don't realize that penguin venom is derived from the pumpkins that make up the largest part of their diet. Pumpkins, of course, are native to Antarctica. The pumpkins in that video were flown in from Antarctica just for the ceremony, already frozen.

Good Lord! Not pumpkin pummeled!

I dare anyone to refute that logic!

Dammit, Andre, we don't want the ISS crew to have an unfair advantage over the bobcats! The poor things only weigh in at 10-15 kilos. I'll admit most of a bobcat is muscle, tooth, and claw, but a healthy man should be able to go hand to paw with one with no worries.

Putin probably wrestles nine or ten lynxes, the bobcat's Eurasian cousin, before breakfast.
