I'm hearing an S5 very slow speed CW station here since 2340 UTC....even at that slow pace, I was only able to write down and decode a couple of words....STATIONS and PIRATE....not sure what this is, but it switched to a higher speed a bit after 2347 UTC...hmmm ???
0107 UTC Just tune in again and the CW is still going strong....
0110 UTC OFF abruptly
By all means move this posting to wherever it belongs!

Noted on the SDR recording at 2247 UTC sending 5 letter groups. Seemed to be about 25 WPM.
Back at 2259 with 15 WPM: VVV VVV VVV DE FAV22 FAV22 FAV22 QLH 3381/6825 KHZ
Then switched to about 10 WPM and started to send 5 LG.
Then I saw some plain text being sent, in French. Frequent mentions of Paris.
Then back to 25 WPM.
FAV22 has ENIGMA ID M51, and is French. So I've moved this to the Numbers board.

Thanks Chris....being severely CW challenged here makes for some iffy postings, not to mention I'm in totally unfamiliar territory as regards utilities on the shortwave bands. The slow CW I heard and transcribed as "PIRATE" could certainly have been "PARIS"...guess I need one of those PC programs to do the bulk work of decoding 8)

Allegedly a frequency also used by the French military for CW training, according to these:

Just happened to run into these posts on a Google frequency search.

Good signal here in S Fla but a bit fast for me. Picking out random letters but it must be almost 25 wpm, too fast for me. Good practice though.
