A carrier with some noise as modulation has been on 6925 since around 1943 UTC. No programming heard - yet?

2240z OM speaking to audience, words inaudible - possible religious gathering?
Much noise & fading.

2256 A loud high pitched tone just started. Anyone else hearing that? EDIT I'm set to USB at the moment.
2259 it just went away.

First chance to tune around 43 meters this evening, and I also came across this carrier at 2340 UTC.  S7 in New York.  No trace of audio.

0033-36 It seems that this transmission is being turned on and off repeatedly, like a kid playing with a light switch. No audio in AM, no apparent signal in USB, high pitched tone in LSB.

1942 - I also noted this rogue carrier on per note in chat last evening...

No modulation on this end, maybe the ionosphere/atmospherics/propagation
washed/stripped the sidebands off of the signal? Does this sound plausible?
