Title: Opera and penguins.
Post by: Pigmeat on May 17, 2016, 0333 UTC
It's been discovered that penguins dislike the sound of opera. Will someone we know be moving to Italy soon due to his irrational hatred of the worlds cutest and most intelligent bird species?

The Firedrake is considered to be Peking Opera. What do penguins think of that?

Pigmeat; I have seen the video of that research to which you refer, and the evidence is quite compelling.  IMHO, the NSF needs to dedicate funding NOW to push this technology to new frontiers.  We really need to know the response of penguins to other musical forms such as, let's say, Hungarian Throat Warbling or the didgeridoo.  It is that crucial to our National Security.
