The HF Underground now supports SSL, so the web traffic between you and the site is secure. If you connect normally (non secure) you should be transparently redirected to the secure version.
It looks like everything is working OK, with the exception of the occasional misbehaving banner ad. Please let me know if you notice any problems.

Just looked up and saw the lock. This is most excellent.
But the cert expires in just under 3 months?

Yes, that seems to be the trend with many of the services that provide certificates. They want shorter periods of validity so a leaked or stolen certificate has a smaller impact.

Some of the Amazon ads are still broken. Interestingly enough, when the Amazon ads don't load correctly, the page lock indicator is happy. When the Amazon ads do load correctly, I get an error message stating that 'This site does not provide identity information.'

i noticed the site index no longer "double loads" since its been SSL.
i presume the "double loading" in the past was due to ads loading on the page, i never really investigated it.

Trump doesn't have any Russian hackers running around here, does he?

If he has, I'm one doomed geeklady.
Yay! for the lock, in all seriousness.

The little things you have to fix... the page with the Europirate Chat was not working after the switch to SSL, turns out because that chat system does not support SSL. So I had to add an exemption so that loads non SSL. Whew.
