Title: Voice of America English 17895 kHz 1742 UTC
Post by: SW Observer on November 02, 2016, 1749 UTC

Great signal of the VOA's English Service on seasonal frequency of 17895 kHz via The Vatican. I've been listening every day between 1600 - 1800 UTC and signals are consistently good at that time.

1600 - 1630 Africa News Tonight, news pertinent to the African Continent.
1630 - 1700 The Sonny Side of Sports, miscellaneous sports news.
1700 - 1730 VOA International Edition, world news as well as science & political updates.
1730 - 1800 Up Front, Pop Culture program with many interviews.

Great signal, great programs, great to have the VOA to listen to every afternoon.

Central Florida, Tecsun PL-660.

At the very top of the hour you should hear VOA world news headlines.  This should last approximately 5 minutes.  :)
