Title: Radio Öömrang, 15215 AM, 21 Feb 2017, 1600z
Post by: MDK2 on February 21, 2017, 1611 UTC
An annual broadcast that I just heard about on Facebook HFU thanks to Skeezix. (Sorry, I couldn't remember where it was that I saw that.) Apparently transmitting from either Nauen or Issoudun, it's something to do with people in a particular region in northern Germany who speak a particular dialect of German. SIO 455. Tune in while you have the chance, it's supposed to be on until 1700.

EDIT video of reception from 1605: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EU5qjeapUkg

Going to show off what a noob I am. Is that the same as SAM? If not, how do I get it? I've seen that setting in HDSDR... Thanks.

Oops yes that's sam mode in sdruno. In hdsdr you select either or both ssb by clicking on the ecssb button to shift modes, in sdruno sam mode you select dsb, lsb, or usb as desired after selecting sam mode.

Sweet. Yes, I use that at times and it's nice.

Got my eQSL this morning. Physically missed listening to it while it happened, but had set up HDSDR to record the audio for the hour while I was away.  Sounds like it was a very good signal into central Ohio with very little fades.
