Anybody know what is going on with R Nacional da Amazonia?   It's been off the air on both 6180 and 11780 for many days now.

Yes, the transformers for their transmitters were damaged in a fire. I haven't heard when they expect to be back on the air.

Same here! I had to ask someone from Brazil about it. He's a DXer who belongs to one of the Facebook SWL groups I belong to, and he got the scoop the other day. You're welcome.

I found them (both frequencies) back on the air last night around 0500Z when I checked.   I listened for a couple hours, glad it's back!
