Claudio (and others), you can put the actual image URL in the image tags, so it can be displayed in the message:

That would require posting the eQSL to a photo sharing site first, correct? We couldn't do that straight from our hard drives.

Correct. Go to http://imgur.com and click on New Post. Upload your image(s). With some browsers you can directly paste the image contents into the New Post window (I can do that with Chrome). So it's really easy - copy the image from my email browser, paste into Imgur, copy the URL, paste into the posting here.
I know attachments are popular, but the the reality is that over the years, they add up in storage space. Plus you have no size limits. Want to post a giant image that is several MB? No problem. Plus, with attachments the image initially appears small, and you have to click on it to see it full sized. If you link to an image in Imgur, it immediately is displayed full sized.
BTW, my MultiMode app for the Mac has an option to directly upload received SSTV images to Imgur, and it returns the final URL to you all within the app without having to go to Imgur, which you can copy and paste here, or in a posting elsewhere. Super easy.

using an external site for images would not only help with server disk storage space limitations for hfunderground.com but would also help with server site bandwidth limitations.

Thanks Chris!
