I will not be near a radio so I pass this along to others. I strongly suspect REE will do a live broadcast of the Champions League final (Superbowl of European football/soccer) today at 1800 or 1830z, kick off is 1845z. The match fetes Italian champion Juventus versus Spanish champion Real Madrid (all the more reason for an REE broadcast) from Cardiff, Wales. The four frequencies used on Saturdays at this time are 15390/15520/17715/17855. I have not heard if the BBC will broadcast, their chaotic schedule is here:

Juventus and Real Madrid will be part of an eight team tournament in July in the US which will feature an unusually strong field with eye-widening match ups including a Manchester Derby and an El Classico. The teams and where they finished in their domestic league, all teams will be in the Champions League next season: Juventus (1), Roma (2), Spurs (2), City (3), United (6), PSG (2), Real (1), and Barca (2).

Already copyable on 17855 as of 1630. For whatever reason, this beam to North America is not reliable a lot of the time. I don't know if it's the condition of the 16m band or technical issues at Tx, but typically I get it better on 15520 until late in their broadcast, like around 2100 or so. I sometimes wonder if they boost their power on match day because 9 times out of 10 it's an easier copy then.
Thanks for sharing the info about that friendly tournament. Spurs played the MLS All Stars here in Denver in 2015, which I couldn't afford unfortunately. I'll have to look into seeing if any of this is going to happen here.

1700z I have the pre-match show (in Spanish) on all but 15390, won't be around for the match.
I was going to try to make one of the ICC matches this summer but the dates don't line up up for me. I'm thinking about the US/Ghana friendly on July 1 in nearby East Hartford. I'm been fortunate to hit some great matches in my life and the atmosphere outside/inside the stadium has equalled the play, remarkable events.

They definitely have the game on. 17855 is by far the best with SINPO of 45334 (N=3 due to local RFI) at 2030Z (really, during the whole first half)
The game on 17855 is about 3-4 seconds ahead of the local TV station's broadcast. Which is kinda of nice as when I hear the REE guys getting all excited, it means I should pay close attention. ;D
