Title: Outhouse Radio 6925 USB
Post by: Zoidberg on September 03, 2010, 2218 UTC
9/3/10
6925 USB
2159z: Eerie wailing music intro (sounds like something used by KIPM years ago?) followed by repeated "Your selectors are locked.  Your channel is centered."
2204z-2210z: Mournful country sounded song, not sure if variation of Streets of Evangeline?  Day the Music Died.
2210z: WEAK Radio ID (doesn't sound like it's actually WEAK tho', good audio but not with thumping bass like WEAK)
2214z: That Ventures riff on sailor tune, can't remember title.
2215z: "You are listening to Outhouse Radio" looped computer voice.
2220z: That eerie wailing music and "Spank the monkey" loop.
2225z: Hendrix "Three Little Bears" from War Heroes.  This song always cracks me up.
2255z: Sign-off with "It's Friday night, who's next?"

SINPO=24432, barely nudging the needle on the indoor fugloop, but QRN/QRM so low it's fairly easy to copy.  Signal very stable and audio sounds very good (audio seemed to change toward end of show, though).

Wasn't making it up here until just recently. Now hear someone.

Was quiet last night. Didn't hear anyway. So boring. At work today, listening to local FM commercial stations. Even more boring than HF static. Threw the headphones down on the desk and lamented for the pirates.
