Title: WBCN 1660 khz Charlotte NC 6/23/17
Post by: Davep on June 23, 2017, 0555 UTC
Coming in at my home qth with with a steady S2 signal id as 94.7mhz The Smoke.
First noticed this on a Toyota car radio, they are playing southern rock and I thought it very odd a Korean song (from new jersey station?) mixing with Molly Hatchett
@ posting playing JJ Kale.
Listed as 1k night , but other than some fades  a decent signal here
Nice playlist.

I live about a far away from them as you do. Except for a few hours in the midday, I can rotate the radio towards Charlotte and nearly always hear them. High frequency and good ground where their antenna is located is the only way I can explain it?

I've never heard New Jersey there but there is a multi-ethnic station in N.J. I hear early and well most afternoons on 1680.
