Post by: loul on July 08, 2017, 1140 UTC: 6925 logged here on the East Coast of New Zealand (South Island), very poor, 0548 through to closure (or abrupt fade-out) at 0618. Pop style music, as far as I could tell, with reception poor enough not to be able to hear any announcers if there were any.

0419 Sign on in AM mode. Sounded like blues music, but too weak / too much static for Shazam.
0424 Switched to USB mode. "The Sky is Crying" according to Shazam.
0433 Off.

Absolutely nothing here (east coast of the USA) on 6925 AM during that time period, so I agree it was someone else.
