Alert Bay, BC is questionable, I think these are really Lauzon, the ref ID is only different by one bit 0x010:

SDR-14 and PVC loop in resonant mode. 2332-1232z. Aimed to the Pacific Northwest. But not a lot of decodes from the Pacific Northwest.
This antenna does not like top pick up Moise. Also some other stations. The more I learn about DGPS propagation and antennas, the less I know.
Wiarton is real, just one of these super brief openings (the beverage produced only one decode at 0913z from Wiarton which is why it did not appear above as it is below my cutoff of 2):

The more I learn about DGPS propagation and antennas, the less I know.
True. But, part of the problem is that we don't know the transmission characteristics of each station and they are all not the same. That throws big variables into the works. But, there is still plenty to discover. And wait until the eclipse...

I can't relate any of what I see to the various indices (SSN, solar flux, A/K index, DST, etc). One night reception is average. The next it is dismal. The next it amazing and I hear Alaska. Why? I do suspect noise levels due to thunderstorm activity is a factor, but not sure how to quantify it, and it is probably only one of 57 factors. Or more.
