Title: Voice of the Report of the Week dropping WBCQ Sundays?

While listening to the VORW at 0000z on August 25, the show's host - John - mentioned he had to do a monthly evaluation of his broadcasts and financial standing.  He said unless offerings increased, he thought the Sunday WBCQ transmission would be dropped.  I am guessing he will announce the status of that broadcast during August 31 - September 3 transmissions.

He is getting much feedback from other broadcasts including 9400am which is aimed at Europe but being received throughout Asia.

I also heard that. Usually comes in really nice here on his Thursday night show here on 7490 and 7730.

That would be a shame. I don't copy 7490 well when his show is on (2200) but it's something that improves in the fall and winter, so I was looking forward to that. That said, I get it well on Fridays (Thursday night) at 7490 and 7730, like Helicaster.

Just announced (August 31 2003z) on 11580 am, the Sunday 2200z broadcast on 7490 am will be discontinued as of September 3.
