0018 UTC Mostly a carrier here with some bits of audio rising up out of the noise ?
Maybe some kind of spur or harmonic? Hard to tell
0023 UTC Definitely music using LSB, which seems to be best
0030 UTC "Paint It Black"-Rolling Stones
0033 UTC "Some Kind of Wonderful"-Grand Funk (S4 peaks now above an S3 noise floor)
0037 UTC "House of the Rising Sun"-The Animals
0041 UTC "Riders On the Storm"-Doors
0048 UTC Still on but signal is buried in the noise
0055 UTC Just switched to AM and hearing "La Grange"-ZZ Top
0056 UTC "Green Grass and High Tides"-Outlaws
0100 UTC OFF midsong
Thanks for the show whoever you were! ??? If somebody could ID this one for me I would be very happy! :)

Hello Skipmuck,
That station on 6229.6 kHz has been on the air since Friday, (bit of wandering around, less than +- 0.1 kHz)
heard here in W. France till approx. 2200 UTC (then no short skip),
with pop-rock hits, probably in a loop (maybe 12 hours long ?),
with no ID at all on any log seen on Internet.
But I guess that it was Radio Nova, that used the same format / hours on the same frequency on the last week of April
(only without the ID's in September).
A few days ago, Nova was around 6398 with another TX, a defective TX with fuzzy carrier.
I heard a part of this e-mail address :
nova99@live.co.uk
(full address checked on the site of UKdxer), hope this is allways the same Nova station.

Thank you very much for the information Ray! It is greatly appeciated! If this is the correct ID, then I also heard Radio Nova back in April 13th of 2017 on 6254.4 AM! Here is my posting for that reception https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,34097.msg127290.html#msg127290
Sadly, my reception report to that email address was not replied to.... maybe I will try again with this latest reception along with an audio clip. Again, thank you! :)

I received the following email....
Hi
Saw your message on this site - the Nova on 6395 which was heard was not the same as the other one you mentioned.
Best 73s
Nova
So I guess this broadcast on 6229.6 AM will remain an UNID! ???

Or maybe this was a message from Radio Nova on 6229.6 AM ? (just wanting to claim no responsability for the bad TX used around 6395 and sometimes reported as Radio Nova too, but another one) ?

Hi Ray.
That Nova is from Ireland, it shifts between 6400, 6396, 6398 etc. Its a Stretchy tx, 10 watts. Seems to work ok on 6400 but once moved down in frequency the carrier goes a bit weird, like you say Ray, fuzzy.

From information received here, neither the 6229.6 nor the 6395ish station are Radio Nova International. It would seem that the 6229.6 station was some kind of transmitter test forever relegated to the UNID archives! Oh well....maybe they'll fire up their rig again sometime with ID's and hopefully an email address for reports! :) Thanks to everybody who responded to my request for an ID! :)
