Title: Radio Sonder Grense 3320 AM 2112 UTC 15 Oct 2017
Post by: ChrisSmolinski on October 15, 2017, 2137 UTC
A very nice SIO 444 signal from this 90 meter South African station even though it is some time until sunset here. Lots of music with occasional breaks by an OM.

It and CHU are the only signals I see on the 200 kHz wide SDR waterfall. A far cry from the 80s when the band would have been full of signals.

TWR MANZINI is appearing now around 0255 on 3240. Channel Africa on 3345kc/s around 0300. Far cry from what the 60 & 90-meter bands held in the 70's and 80's. Sonder Grense is still the powerhouse on that band. If they're poor, then the rest will be the same.
