Youngstown in during the day for a short while and a few back from the dead, fitting for Halloween.
Miraflores? Maybe, but with only one, can't confirm it. Time is decent for San Carlos Centro and on a split channel, but only one, so can't call it good.

I'd like to come up with some sort of a non arbitrary metric for real vs fake. The best I have is two or more decodes in a "short" time period, which I have not really pinned down. Obviously the closer together the better. And the more (over two) the better. Maybe you could come up with some formula to estimate a probability based on the number of decodes and time period. And maybe you could make it somewhat based on reality by estimating the probability of getting decodes due to just noise, or corruption of bits. The chance that what you're seeing is not due to random bits. The random part is probably not that difficult, not sure about the corrupted part. And I think really what we mostly see (fake decodes) is corrupted bits from real stations. But sometimes I also see what appears to be a fake decode purely based on noise, as there is no (likely) station on the same frequency.
-
I definitely want to come up with a way too.
There are stations appear where there is no other stations in range (on 0.5 kHz channels), during the day.
I think we still need more information from ADGPS on why it thinks its a fake. Could this simply be a rare bug or race condition that causes these to be incorrect, is it something with chance of randomness, and/or other things.
Will definitely have to analyze much more.
