Title: Feb 2018 logs and a new one!

Been hearing the regulars, A, haystack and ocassionally one of the other long dashers by it, Windy, Rainy, Hexy2k, Mini on 8000 that was doing real well last weekend and even the Marin ditter when I listen around 2200 utc. 

Have also been hearing a new one on about 4096.550 +/- sending a "Y" in CW.  The last dash of the Y is a little longer than the first 2.  Heard both in the evening and the mornings

Glad you mentioned the 4096.5 Y...I have extreme difficulty on that freq....I did not post the Y because I wasn't sure I actually heard
it before the static has plagued the  4 mc pirate band.

Mini on the other hand is easier to hear then the Marian Ditter...

Feb 23 Time 1308  4095.8 USB  Y solid copy
checked after day light, at 1359 utc very light copy but in there.

I have been listening for the 4096 beacons but a carrier is near there coming off the power lines...
finally I decided to listen in usb and use the twin bi pass filters in the icom 756 and low and behold there Y was
with a ditter being heard ( a dit every few seconds , which I guess is a beacon also.)

I had not read any forum posts before "discovering" Y for myself just now. Pretty cool to hear something new

4096.520 KHz  Letter "Y" Weak but readable

Maybe poor Morse for "KT" ?
