Weak music and wobbly carrier.
0147 - sounds like "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" Eric Clapton
0150 - "Wonderful Tonight" EC
seems off or faded by 0157

If you're listening on AM you would not notice a "wobbly" carrier.

If you're listening on AM you would not notice a "wobbly" carrier.
- If there is enough frequency movement (for example, strong FMing) they would notice it as a very distinct and recognizable form of distortion.
- If they are using an SDR (which has nothing to do with reception modulation mode), they could observe it visually.
-
The "wobbly" carrier lets those of us with SDRs identify certain transmitters ::)

I would have liked to listen to it in SSB for an improved S/N ratio, but the wobbly carrier makes that very unpleasant. The sound in AM wasn't bad, just weak and noisy copy.

I have pretty much forgotten SSB because, right or wrong, unless you build a special piece the bandwidth is dreadful 2.5 kHz. Like that is worse than a telephone in a third world country.
