Harri Kujala from Finland is organizing European pirate tests to Japan this weekend. Further info can be found at http://hkdx2.blogspot.com/. Some of the test times will also be suitable for North American listeners.
Harri is probably the world's leading expert on Serbian pirates (outside Serbia, of course) and his blog has many pics of Serbian homemade transmitters (all mw). There is also a very interesting video from Old Time Radio.
