0030z: KARR cylon voice ID
0100z: Alice in Chains set now
0130z: Megadeth set, "Foreclosure of a Dream", others.
0136z: Sounds like anncr voice live on mic, something about "...on the highways, byways..." couldn't copy rest
0155z: Human voice ID after a bunch of music I didn't recognize because I'm unhip
Generally good signal with some rapid fades.

KARR 6925u 02/26/11 00:33 sio232, very weak, "Loser", other Three Doors Down songs
-
Badly distorted audio abt S-7 signal level here.. am or ssb music sounds like carp.
-
Ridiculously huge signal here in the Boston burbs, S9+60. Alice and Chains at 0100z 2/26.
-
Odd that sat_dxer is hearing distorted audio. Most of the time here the audio is really very good and the singal level is down to S9 at the bottoms of the fades. Slightly over 3 kHz wide and bottom end roll-off is below 50 Hz. Between songs during dead air there is some pretty large hum though.

Sounds okay here. Twist the VFO thingie until the terrible goes away.
by golly a twist of the vfo does bring in real hi fidelity Embarrassed
LOL! Been there, done that. Pirates on sideband give your VFO fine tuning skills a good workout. (Not a criticism - chasing those signals is part of the fun. ;D
