Ordinarily, I'd consider writing about this only after the entire hour of a scheduled HM01 broadcast was missed. However, I was up late last night, trying to see if I would be able to get a decent copy at 0500z (10860) and 0600z (10345) before going to bed, because I hadn't gotten one at any point during their daytime transmissions. There was a strong carrier on 10860 for a while, but no signal, only the rather weird distorted signals that come off RHC/HM01 at times, before going QRT at some point and not returning. It wasn't there for the 0600z broadcast at all. And although I have no idea if it ever came on, either that hour or any of the subsequent scheduled times 0700-1000z, but it's not there for the 1600z/11435 broadcast as I write this.
If anyone else has tuned to HM01 in the past 12 hours, that is, 0500-1100 UTC on July 9, and either heard or not heard anything, please comment. It would be interesting to know if they were on at all. Perhaps they are fixing the transmission issues they've been having recently, where the signal seems to vary from full power to a fraction of it intermittently.

Hi, I tried it at 0500, 0600, and 0700 but apart from the noisy carrier signal on 10860 kHz I heard nothing.
I tried several sdr's in the Caribbean and US at 1700 but all wa silent.

Monitored but not heard 1600z, 1700z, 1800z on known frequencies.

I saw at least one report elsewhere that it was on at 2200z on 10715. I had completely forgotten to check for it then, or at 2100. It's on now on 11462 for the 0500z transmission, good signal.

yep, it is back. I copied them at 0514 i.p. Quite weak here in Holland

I also monitor M08a yesterday on 8010 LSB, nothing heard. Like Ary said, they might be on vacation or the transmitter having problems.

On 7/10 they are in repeat mode of 7/9 groups.
Maybe summer vacation time.

I am tuning into 16180 AM on the New York SDR, and right now it's noisy. Not sure if it the propagation conditions thought.

Also noticed the repeat. I was wondering if they're just playing catch-up since they missed at least three broadcasts, possibly more.
I am tuning into 16180 AM on the New York SDR, and right now it's noisy. Not sure if it the propagation conditions thought.
It's definitely not that great now on 17480. In the past these afternoon transmissions were always the best ones, especially on the days that they use 16180 and 17480, so it's possible that the bottom-level solar flux is affecting it.

Interesting, i am on 8136 LSB on the Florida globaltuners SDR to see if M08a is on, and so far nothing.
