Title: N. Korea Disrupts Current Military Maneuvers With Russian Device To Jam GPS
Post by: Fansome on March 09, 2011, 2226 UTC
Interesting article. Apparently North Korea has purchased Russian GPS jamming equipment, and is using it to try to disrupt the military maneuvers going on in the South. The North is also peddling modified versions of these devices to the Middle East, and is actively developing an "electromagnetic pulse bomb" disrupt communications in the South.

I'm sure the American military has been planning for this for a long time, but it's odd that the vulnerability of the GPS system to jamming has not made it into the news more often.
