S6 @ 0209 with "I Can't Go For That"
0212 - changing frequency, seems to have settled on 6865, up to S9 and great bass now.
-
Had an S9 signal in the Charlotte NC area, but lots of static crashes and an undulating signal form 6.875 MHz to 6.905 mHz. Wish I could hear them better.
-
They just moved to 6.865 mHz. Much better.
-
Signal much clearer after the move to 6.865.
If you eqsl, then please do to K4TXX.

Happy to stumble across this forum as I tried to figure out what I was hearing on 6865 kHz yesterday evening way up here north of Seattle.
The signal was less than ideal, with a considerable amount of atmospheric noise and deep, long fades at times. Here's what I got. First tuned in at 0222 UTC on Aug. 31:
0222: “Another Brick in the Wall” by Pink Floyd
0226: “Rapture” by Blondie
0306: “Sweet Emotion” by Aerosmith
0311: “Everything She Wants from Me” by Wham!
0317: Didn't recognize this or the next song, but the bass was booming at times in my earbuds. 0324: “Crazy“ by Seal
I missed the actual signal signoff, but it was gone by 0330 UTC.
I just actually got back into SWL (after 25 years off) about two months ago, so catching something like this was really cool. I assume Mix Radio is coming from somewhere closer to the East Coast?

Killer signal 6870 with the Fixx "Red Sky at Night" here in Randolph County WV.
Great audio with nice, smooth bass...
Signal sounded stronger than the commercial stations tonight, like the station was right down the road.
Faded out near 0200
