Title: Radio Exterior De Espana pegging the needle
Post by: East Troy Don on September 12, 2018, 2141 UTC
15520 @ 2127 UTC 12 Sept 2018  in Spanish to the Middle East:

2127:  Male announcer
21:28  Music in English, male singer "Gimmee Some of That"
21:30 Female announcer in an interview

Absolutely booming signal to begin with - wonderful clarity with NO QRM to start.  Reminded me of the old Deutsche-Welle days back in the 80's.   Signal faded after about 8 minutes to the normal SINPO: 4-3-3-4-4.   Other than the recent sunspot activity (19) I have no idea why this blast-out occurred but it certainly was enjoyable.

If you think they were booming in today, wait 'til you hear them blast you away doing La Liga matches on three frequencies over the weekend on 15520, 17715, and 17855 beginning at 1400z.
