6293 does not seem to be the same station: weak, pops from pop's
2024 gd evening, closing down, R. Python?, bye bye, pop

2030 off
I was elsewhere on 48 at 2014, but I think that I think that 6290 switched off, then the weaker 6293 became audible... but not sure, of course

Hi Ray....I was listening at 2013 UTC....the music went on for a minute or so but was fading in and out with a very weak peak signal. I couldn't hear it at 2015 UTC and switched to sideband to tune for the carrier and found a similar signal right away. I am not sure if it was the same song.

Just read the log from JBK :
that station was B4 (Batavier) on 6290 then 6293.
I was fooled, because once again that station tried to disguise as JT, while the signal was good, then after the switch, the signal was weaker and no more trying to play like JT.

No, no ! Radio Batavier (B4) is not Radio Batavia !!
And Radio Batavia plays and ID as clearly as Radio Batavier tries to hide and use fake IDs

Thanks for the info Ray! Very interesting indeed! So this is a mystery station I presume? Hmmm......
We have plenty of this sort of thing on this side of the pond also....   ;D
I found an email address online for Batavier....maybe it's still good....
Sent an email and it didn't bounce! If this is Radio Batavier, it's a new one for me!  8)
