Title: WPOD 6925
Post by: Zoidberg on May 31, 2011, 0355 UTC

5/31/11
6925 USB
0341z: WPOD ID's (YL computer voice), sounds like TV theme song show so far.  Heard "Hawaii Five-0", one other that sounded familiar but can't recall.
0408z: "World's finest... Chicago" audio montage with familiar pop songs, WPOD ID.
0409z: Rockford Files theme
0418z: White Punks On Dope - totally Tubular

Fair signal through heavy static crashes and local RFI.

Received eQSL for this show, thanks!

WPOD, 6925u, 5-31-11, SINPO 25332
Just getting ready to call it a night, but heard a station coming through.
Pretty steady, but weak signal. Very crashy atmosphere here in Chicago.

0358z - WPOD ID ("This is WPOD, White Punks On Drugs radio")via female computer voice.
Hearing the other tunes, but not sure I can identify them. They do sound like TV theme songs.
0407z - Job Rolling papers ad.
0408z - ID again.
0408z - Rockford Files theme (finally got one)
0422z - Sign-off ID's. Thanks very much.

I'd enjoy a QSL if you do so.

Recorder catch:

6925 USB SIO 323 0344z-0422z 05-31-11

Noisy conditions, but signal getting through the static crash with little fading.  Program details same as others posted.
