'too close' was my first idea, but as the signals were coming in well later in the night, I thought to a far away location, far in the SW (like Canary Islands?). Not the explanation, now that I have nothing good also at later hours. The good signals around 2200 utc must have been by an alternative propagation mode, (just like LHH often comes again at late hours, but quite better). That leaves a possible place near Spain or western Mediterranean, just for example.
Well, goodbye Charleston Radio, mystery station, rendez_vous in next February when the day becomes longer anew.
About 5780 : heard Tuesday 27 around 0945 utc, no signal at 1554 utc (still before night here), no signal this morning, so the TX is probably off for maintenance.
About 6205 : heard 'in' any hour, but not at any time: deep fades !
About 5840 World Music Radio, Denmark: heard well here at any time, so the skip distance is less than 1200 km approximately.
