This is about numbers stations, but isn't a log, so I thought it fit best here. Some of you might find this interesting.
I was just reading Peter Wright's book "Spycatcher" (1987) about his career in MI5, in which he makes many mentions of agents listening to the stations, and to broadcast formats, schedules, etc.
An example from Chapter Ten: "I found, to my astonishment, that changes in the radio traffic mirrored the different types of agent. For instance, by looking at the operational radio procedures, such as the types of call signs used, it was possible to tell whether the spy was of KGB or GRU origin. Similarly, by analyzing the group counts and the lengths of the messages, it was possible to tell what type of spy was receiving the traffic... The KGB illegal resident... always took the greatest amount of traffic, generally between five hundred and a thousand groups a month".
Chapter Thirteen explains a common technique of double-encipherment the author says is used when composing messages using a one-time pad.
