Sounds like Captain Ron's voice, but no clear ID yet. Also heard what sounds like "Red Mercury" or "Fred Mercury"
9/27/11, 6925 USB, 0001z: Anncr chatter, something about a lab rat, Red Mercury (or Fred Mercury), shout-out to Ragnar Stevie Ray Vaughn "Texas Flood".
0030z: More SRV "The House is Rockin'", shout-out to olddxer
0044z: "Greetings fellow scientists, researchers", shout-out to DimBulb and others logging this show.
0049z: Contact info sounded like "redmercury at yahoo dot com"
0105z: Captain Ron in QSO now
0125z: Audioslave, STP "Plush", sounds like Captain Ron segment of show now.
Mostly buried under local RFI here at home. Occasionally peaking through the mud. Overall, not bad even compared with various Global Tuners remotes in KY, OH, WI and San Antonio south of Gopher Stomp.
Signal peaks stronger after sunset here.

Just tuned in to Red Mercury at 0145Z on 6.925 Mhz USB. Peaking at S9+10 here in Northern KY near Cincinnati. Good audio while giving email address, but didn't recognize the song. Using a Ten Tec Pegasus with a multi-band inverted vee up about 45' for receive.
