With the departure of communism, ideological warriors like Radio Free Europe and Russia ceased broadcasting programs in the languages of Eastern Europe and even liquidated their short-wave broadcasting centers. We will hear Polish, Czech and Hungarian on HF thanks to China Radio Int. - scchedule on Google.
    For the countries of the former Soviet Union, programs are broadcast by R. Svoboda.
Still, Vatican Radio traditionally maintains editorial offices for Slavic countries.
