Could any one recommend a technician for an Icom transceiver repair? Thanks

If you don't mind shipping it off for repair, Matt Adrian at SARTS in Michigan is excellent and reasonable. There are other regional repair places, so there might be one closer to you.

A good source for such information is on eham.net, under reviews. Look for radio repair, then SARTS.
