Just caught an ID for Undercover Radio at 0344 UTC on 1710 khz and into Chris Isaac's "I want to fall in love" song. Signal in and out and mostly fair, seems to be coming up a bit. As always, best here in usb to avoid 1700 splatter. Thanks for the show!

Undercover Radio, 12/24/11, 1.710am, SIO 322, 4:12+UTC, Dr Benway and the "Message From Mars" sent by The Sidonians. Heavy static on signal tonight but still very clear ID from Benway at 4:17 utc. Another ID at 4:35 utc.

Heard this one in the same time period,but I wasn't 100% sure who it was? The op was talking about his studio set-up during a break.
The signal was solid and the audio nice on peaks. However they were battling it out with Radio Celestial for ownership of the frequency.
There also seemed to be a third station in there but it never became readable over the other two.
Grundig G-5 and Kaito loop on this end.

I keep missing this one. I'll need to try tonight, hopefully Dr Benway will be on again, and win over Radio Celestial.
It's 1630, and there's a faint het on 1710 already. IIRC from last winter, they are close to 24/7 here this time of the year.
