Quote from the Documentary:Beware of Mr. Baker.... Baker's first wife, Elizabeth Ann Baker, says "If a plane went down and there was one survivor, it would be Ginger....The devil takes care of his own.".......https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-features/ginger-baker-essential-songs-cream-blind-faith-fela-kuti-890696/

Did some sampling of pil on yt, guess he got too old to rock & roll.
That's a shame.

I thought he did some stuff with The Art Of Noise in the 80's? As much sampling as TAON did, he may have and didn't know it? lol.

PIL gave John Lydon aka Johnny Rotten aka Green Teeth, another vehicle to annoy people with. I don't think he ever forgave the music press for dubbing him "Green Teeth" on the Sex Pistols one and only American tour? At least Sid had the good sense to o.d. after it was over.

How sad. Strangely, I pulled out Cream's "Wheels of Fire" for the first time in many years this month, not knowing he'd passed on.

I highly suggest side 3, i.e. "Crossroads" and "Spoonfull", live at the Filmore. Incredible improvisation, power, chops. One of a kind.

RIP to one of the greatest rock drummers, and a hugely "colorful" character. There's a very interesting documentary on Mr. Baker; he didn't lead a dull life.
