Title: Unidentified 3485 AM 12:50 UTC 18 October 2019

I am not sure what this station is. I went here to try to hear Gander's VOLMET and heard what sounds like a pirate (or Clandestine?) Asian station playing slow, sad music. It's quite strong at my Seattle location. I think I heard the announcer mention Pyongyang several times.

Most likely Voice of the People, a Korean clandestine?

Thank you! It really baffled me because it sounded so strong it could have been local but now I'm hearing fading.

Voice of the People and all those other Korean clandestines often come in pretty well to this area in the morning hours. I'm in Lake Stevens, and even with just my whip antenna, that one, along with Echo of Hope and Voice of Freedom are regularly heard here.

Nothing like an ocean to help propagate hf signals.
