Title: What have you found behind your TV?

So the cable company is supposed to send a worker out with a new modem for me today. This morning took apart my "entertainment center" and by the time I put it back together I had:

5 left over 75 ohm cables of various length with f connectors
2 antenna splitters
1 power cord
1 tv antenna rotor control box

It looked like a rat's nest.

One more splitter and you can make a nice 4 feed splitter!

Your inventory appears to be typical. Mine would also include numerous cat toys as Josh mentioned as well as several Lego blocks.

Two cats here. The male is too fat to get behind the set, the female goes back there when she wants a break from the big lummox to sleep. I ignore looking behind there unless it smells like something dead or she's taken a dump behind there.

Probably my earliest memory is when I was teething as a toddler and gnawed through the insulation on the cord to the TV. If it hadn't been for a life saving glass bottle of cold milk in the fridge, that TV may have got me.

Lol when I got an emt cert some of the slides the instructor showed us was of kids who had notched their lips by chewing power cords. Looked very painful.

Believe me, it is.

I once helped a guy jump start his junker. He always wore fake Rolex's. He told his nephew to get in the car and crank the starter. At the very second the nephew cranked the ignition, I noticed that fake Rolex was about an eighth of inch above the coil. It happened too fast for me to warn him. A fat blue arc hit that Rolex, his head shot up like he'd been hit by a Mike Tyson upper cut, and the hood slammed down on his head. It was great.

Who's this Fansome character up the page? Isn't he the one who mistakes manatees for aging pop stars and lusts after goats?

One time I found a VHS tape that I didnt know where it went behind my TV.....

That happens. I found the box for "Repo Man" behind mine once. It's not like I needed it, the tape itself was well labeled. Great movie from that era, up there with "Leningrad Cowboys Go America" along with mine and Al's bio pic "Der Himmel uber Berlin" by Wim Wenders. Leave it to Fansome to go all nuts over a circus performer and leave our cushy job with it's perqs like immortality. I should have crushed Nick Cave and Peter Falk with chunks of the wall for ruining Al.
