2037 UTC OM chatting
2040 UTC "Low Rider"-War
2042 UTC "Call Me"-Blondie
2046 UTC "Melting Pot"-Blue Mink & Madeline Bell
(The fading and signal lead me to believe this might be of European origin) ??
2050 UTC "Sweet Talkin' Guy"-The Chiffons
2053 UTC "Hey You! Little Boo-Ga-Loo"-Chubby Checker
2057 UTC "Sally Go Round the Roses"-The Jaynetts
2101 UTC "House of the Rising Sun"-Animals
2105 UTC "Whip It"-Devo
2107 UTC OM DJ chatting (Maybe this is a relay of an old offshore station?)
2110 UTC "I Got You Babe"-Sonny & Cher
2114 UTC "Celebration Time"-Kool & the Gang
( Signal has faded into the noise since 2118 UTC....brief fade ups only now :( )
Here is a link to my recording...reception directly across the pond if this is a European! Please QSL ! :)

Hi Gino! Maybe this is a European station?
-
I don't no, bat signal come and goes.
-
OK...thanks! I'll keep listening and maybe catch an ID...signal is good but fades and noise make for tough copy when the announcer is talking
-
2116z play Mr Taumbourine.
-
on 6849.95
2119 extra weak, some music on rare peaks, trace most of the time,
2123 trying all the tricks here, 2126 better on second antenna !
well very hard to hear, but better
2130 talking, probably an ID, in E with US accent ?, 2132 music
2135 DJ, "Great balls of fire", 2137 "Video killed the radio star",
2140 DJ, sounds like Emperor Rosko, 2142 music
2144 lost in the noise
2219 music, DJ ?, music, 2222 trace
2224 M+W duo in F : ..je vous rappelle l'adresse... (only that copied), music
lost by 2230 2235 trace again, audio under noise level
edit : must have been a relay of R. Mi Amigo Int. (from Spain, through SW relay in Kall), see on Saturday 25th, and that explains Rosko and the F announcement.

No luck hearing an ID on your recording Gino....I'll listen back on my recording again later. If I get an ID, I'll post it here!
-
I've had some trace audio for a while now. If anyone can list time(s) of possible IDs I will check my SDR recording in the morning.
-
Ok Skip , thanks.
-
Skipmunk - I listened to some of your recording. The accent sounded like it might be Irish which makes me think of Blue Moon Radio from Ireland which has been heard on 6850 kHz in the past. It could be worth checking with him to see he if was on this evening - BlueMoonRadio188@gmail.com

Thanks for the tip ukdxer! I haven't heard Blue Moon Radio in a long time! I forgot they used this frequency before! :)
I'm still hearing some brief weak fade ups of music at 2217 UTC
-
Nothing on the SW UK SDR on 6850 so obviously skipping over
