Hearing somebody pop up and down in the noise
0132 OM tx over "A Summer Place"
0134 OM tx over "I Said Yeah Yeah"
0137 OM tx over unid song - ment Radio Powerliner
0139 Billy J Kramer "Bad To Me" - ment R Caroline
0144 S&C - "I Got You Babe"
0145 ment "Isle of Man", J&D "Surf City", ment R London, Gerry &TPM "Ferry Across the Mersey"
0155 No good audio here for the last 10 minutes
0156 Ment KLIF Dallas and R Caroline in the same sentence...
0200 signal barely audible here now; traces of PH "Whiter Shade of Pale"...R London...8.1 million listeners
0210 E Prunes - "Too Much to Dream"
0223 An ID was given as "You are listening to Radio ????, Radio ????" ... I am not sure if this was part of the Euro history program, or if it was an ID by an op; far too noisy here
0231 Moody Blues "Go Now", Spencer Davis "So Glad We Made It"
0237 a URL was given as "WWW point something..."...I'll see if I can dig it out of the tape later
(I can't seem to hear the URL, but I did hear 2 definite "Offshore History Radio: IDs)
0238 end of audio; still a het there
0309 still a het on 6924.05...
Thanks for the ID, Ron!! We never heard it here the first time around...
weak, fady, slightly muffled audio; OM has Brit accent
Thanks, whoever you are; what could be heard was interesting!
Your QSL very much appreciated!

I tuned in at 0129.
Certainly similar to what I heard last night (UTC).

Threshold audio here, sounds like someone talking over music, difficult to make out at 0143 UTC. Maybe coming from Europe?

0145Z 15111 They're deep in the noise. See a definite carrier with a good lock, but audio is very low. Heard a "radio" for an ID, but nothing more. Hearing music, but unable to tell what it is.
0148Z 25231 Gerry & the Pacemakers "Ferry Cross the Mersey"
0202Z 15231 Procol Harum "Whiter Shade of Pale"
Playing a recording of a British pirate radio program.
Listening on a NJ Perseus and the signal is very good. Heard an ID, but signal faded at exactly the crucial moment. Figures. Sounded like "You are listening to Radio <something>urch." (Lurch? Search? ??)
Also checked some Perseii in UK & Germany, but heard absolutely nothing on the frequency.
0237Z Program is done & all can be heard is a dead carrier.

the station is very strong here with some distortion esp. when he just gave the ID a couple of times.
talking alot about radio caroline and some of the other European pirates in the 70's and 80's.
running almost s8 now he gave an id and apologized for the distortion.
wish his audio was better as it would be a good show.

ID as Offshore History Radio
Very interesting program. Thanks for the broadcast!
On from at least 0129 UTC, Offshore History Radio signed off at 0237 on 3 January 2012
Fair signal, occasional fades. Generally intelligible in Wyomissing, near Reading, PA

Offshore History Radio is a program of CoolAM Radio from Holland coolamradio(at)hotmail.com
I suspect a relay since cool uses a 5 watt tx and a stick antenna ;)

Terry;
Thanks for that info. Never thought it was a tx from across the pond, but it is really nice to know the program origin.
