edit: that report erroneously IDed the station as Studio 52, but it was Zeewolf talking in Dutch about Studio 52, so I change the subject (and modify the details below).
on 6290.0+
1605 music, 1606 report for Mike Fox, next pop,
1609 talking, report to..., with fading, mentions Studio 52, clean channel,
1611 'This is free radio ....' (middle of song),
1614 papapoom box intro to "Eya he.." (title?), 1618 next, pop
1621 ID,, > talking about Studio 52
1622~ CCR "Down on the corner" (in the middle : thanks for reports),
1625 "Barracuda",
1629 suddenly covered by > sudden change of sound (alien carrier?)
Radio Zeewolf, with ID + e-mail
1630 Studio 52 off > strange sound ended, only Zeewolf not so good
-
on 6290.0+
suddenly appearing above Studio 52 > suddenly a strange effect
1629 ID as Radio Zeewolf, with e-mail
1630 Studio 52 switching off, > strange effect ending,
then only Zeewolf > not so good as previously
1630 not so clear, "Radio gaga"
1634 ID : Radio Zeewolf, thanking listeners for reports, bye bye
1636 "Venus", 1639 'now closing down', off

Hello Ray,
6290 kHz was not Studio 52.
Studio 52 was on 6423 kHz with a music program.
There antenna system prevents that they go lower in frequency.
I started my transmission on 6290 before studio 52 was cd because I wanted to know what the difference in signal was.
Studio 52 was mentioned by me.
We are from the same QTH with only a few km distance.
Greetz,
Herman.
Radio Zeewolf.

Hello Herman,
Thanks for the reply. The signal on 6290 was very clear from 1605 to 1629, except for some fading at times, nothing bad. I listened continuously to 6290 only, heard at least 2 times the name Studio 52 (not Zeewolf),
then at 1629, I heard your ID, with a strange effect, just like a QRM from a close carrier, then at 1630 there was like a jump, leaving Zeewolf alone, but much less clear than before 1629,
so, at least, something happened around 1630, maybe an alien carrier, maybe a sudden change in the propagation.
Sorry, I missed completely 6423 at that time, no comparison at all, I simply did not try 6423 at that time.
Now the chore : how to edit my posts !
Thanks again for replying,
Ray
