Title: UNID CW 6949khz
Post by: LanceLovejoy on January 09, 2012, 0019 UTC
Been hearing weak CW since about 0:00z on 6949khz while searching for a Sunday pirate.  Too weak to get much decode on, possibly 5 letter groups.  Perhaps someone has some idea about this? ???

Addendum:  Still detectable through the noise at 01:32z

Sending 5L groups,  2/22/2012 @ 0044Z.

Might be M51...

Heard BT NR 51F.

And
0105Z: BT NR 5_F 23 0FO4857 1984 BT    (may be a little messed up in the middle due to fading)
0111Z: BT NR 53F 23 028 118 05 1984 BT
0123Z: BT NR 55F 23 028 223M541 1984 BT
0129Z: BT NR 56F 23 028 29 855 1984 BT
0135Z: BT NR 57F 23 028 3 B810 1984 BT
0141Z: BT NR 58F 23 028 4 28_ 1__4 BT
0147Z: BT NR 59F 23 128 48_40 1984 BT
0207Z: BT NR 62F 23 380 78WU9 1984 BT
0213Z: BT NR 63F 23 038 238 35 1984 BT
0219Z: BT NR 64F 23 038 198 49 1984 BT
0225Z: BT NR 65F 23 ___ __8 59 1984 BT
0231Z: BT NR 66F 23 038 32 813 1984 BT

Using CWSkimmer for the decoding... its not decoding the : correctly. Decoding it manually on the latest:
0309Z: BT NR 72F 23 04:09:42 1984 BT  (CWSkimmer shows BT NR 72F 23 04 809 84 1984 BT)

For 0231Z, it should be: BT NR 66F 23 03:32:13 1984 BT.  (not going to do the others. Think that substituting the 8<space> for : works).

0321Z: BT NR 74F 23 04:2_:17 1984 BT
0334Z: BT NR 76F 23 04:34:53 1984 BT
0340Z: BT NR 77F 23 04:41:04 1984 BT
