Heard this station with a good signal so I took the song as a suggestion. So I just walked right in and sat down at my radio to listen to the broadcast.  I'm balding so I let my hair down some time ago.

Damn off after enjoying it for 6 minutes.

2120 UTC, signal now heard on Denton Hill kiwi, ten miles south of my QTH in Flint, MI. SIO 353, S7. No QRN at all.

2126 I heard Trini Lopez "If I had a Hammer"

AM signal sounds completely unprocessed compared to the sound of their SSB transmissions, with the low-mid distorting somewhat.

;D  I did catch FC on air with AM mode.
  OM, susgesstions:
AM is usually needing a level processor to get modulation high without over mod.
Its a diffrent sitaution from SSB.
So Get out that Optimod for the Turkey Day cast.

Was an AM radio engineer for years. Music has a high dynamic range, that why you need assistance with the baseband, OM.

Ezekiel of the Telegraph Pole signing off.

My Mom was a Beatnik chick. I'm having hootenanny flashbacks! Quick, some Gid Tanner and The Skillet Lickers before my ears explode! Cue "A Moonshine Still In Georgia" stat, and someone shoot David Crosby!

Same here. At the *very* least, they need some AGC to keep it level, but a good peak limiter would help immensely. Even one of those inexpensive Alesis Micro-limiter units, using one channel as AGC and the other as a limiter, would help the modulation greatly.
