With local-ish KIXI down in the background, I heard this Lexington, Nebraska, station come up as a female announcer gave the weather forecast for the next week (sunny and 50s, which seems warm for Nebraska this time of year), then a recorded, male-voiced “KRVN” ID played. I heard bits and pieces of it amid the jumble (KIXI, KCMX, KWIP) in the following 20 minutes or so as the station played a story-telling program.
This runs 50 kW; the distance from me is about 1,204 miles. Not sure I’ve ever logged Nebraska before on mediumwave.

Try for 590 KXSP (espn and used to be country WOW, last of the three letter callsigns in the region) and/or 1110 KFAB, both in/near Omaha with decent antenna systems.

Good suggestions. If I get the antenna facing the right direction, I should be able to hear past KUGN in Eugene, Oregon, on 590 and KBND in Bend, Oregon, on 1110.

KRVN is a tough one here, WCBS NYC is loud and really can't be nulled to favor KRVN from my location.
In nulling WCBS, WRFD Columbus OH comes in. Was able to hear WPIP Winston-Salem NC (1.8kw)
under WRFD this morning just before our sunrise. The NC station is a daytimer.
