Fair to good signal via Washington, D.C., SDR ...

2314 UTC: Playing "Carry That Weight" and "The End" by The Beatles.
2317 UTC: OM announcer talking about his levels and modulation, gave a quick ID, then chatting about his vinyl records. Then played "Santa Claus is Coming to Town." Sounded like a quick SSTV behind the song.
2321 UTC: OM talking about how vinyl seems to have a warmer sound and that's why he started Vinyl Radio.
2331 UTC: After a few '60s- and '70s-sounding instrumentals, the OM says he's signing off but he'll be back on Christmas Eve with a show. After a few bars of a Herb Alpert tune, the signal was off at 2333 UTC.

Thanks for the music!

Very Good reception. PL 880 with just its whip

2320 "Santa Claus is Coming to Town"
Request? "Christmas Wrap" The Waitresses or Robert Earl Keene "Merry Christmas from the Family"?
2324 Unid song but signal is dipping back into noise a little

:-[ Sorry I missed the Vineall cast. The music to me sounds warmer than digital. I grew up with 33 and 45 rpms and as a DJ in 1980's,, that all my station had to play.
Look forward to more Vinyl Radio

A record’s overall quality diversion from alternative sound sources, warmth, is caused by the way the record, itself, is listened to. Not everyone has experienced analog recording technology. That said, analog-recorded records are still valued over most alternatives.
