Title: "UN?D" Radio, "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" & SSTV
Post by: Zoidberg on October 26, 2008, 2213 UTC
"UN?D" Radio - literally!

At 2020 UTC, started with unidentifiable data.
2025z: Iron Butterfly "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida", complete version.  Started at 6926 USB, suddenly shifted to 6927.5, then back toward 6926.  Not drifting but very sudden shifts like the VFO was nudged.

Ended with four SSTV images, difficult to copy due to having to guess at center frequency.  Each appears to read, literally "UN?D", with other text indecipherable due to noise.

Good signal overall, much better than I usually get this time of day in N. Central Texas.

(Palstar R30C with fugly homebrewed indoor passive coax loop.)

Audio clip for entire show, including SSTV images: http://www.mediafire.com/?0vznnykbtzm (http://www.mediafire.com/?0vznnykbtzm)

Third SSTV indecipherable, different mode, triggered b&w mode on MMSSTV:

The small print appears to read "Unidentified ... Radio"
