Radio Ronin  Shortwave, 1-28-12, *0004-0107*, 6.925 AM, sigs hr at first S8 to +10, then later S6-9, started with "I Can't Get No Satisfaction" interval signal, then an ID and into Foghat's "Fool For the City," followed by other tunes from ZZ Top, Billy Idol, Blue Oyster Cult, Bob Seger, etc.  Off with qsl info and ID at 0107.  Anncr audio was weak at times.

There he is, buried in QRN. 0004 mx 'satisfaction' intro repeated, 0007 station ID, mx fool for the city fading out, SINPO 23232

S9+20 here in KY too.  Wonder what they are using for an antenna.  Nice coverage with s9+ sigs in KY, MD, MN, and OK.

Fair to good into GA tonight 0013Z. Good on peaks, lots of selective fading on the signal tonight

1/28/12, 6925 AM, 0020z: Haven't caught an ID yet, but so far heard Hendrix "Red House", ZZ Top "Tube Snake Boogie", 3 Doors Down "Kryptonite"
0032z: Radio Ronin Shortwave ID, Billy Idol "White Wedding", BOC "Don't Rear the Feaper", Ten Years After "I'd Love to Change the World"
0051z: Beatles or John Lennon, can't quite make it out, faded to barely audible.  Maybe "Being For the Benefit of Mr. Kite"?
0101z: "Turn the Page" juuusssttt barely audible, sounds like Bob Seger version.

Just using a portable on a whip indoors, pretty good signal peaks despite the usual household RFI. Switching between Magnavox D2935 and Sony 2010, interesting that each picked up this signal a little differently. Not sure if it's the signal or better conditions, but this is the best I've heard Ronin in awhile.

Recorder catch:

Same details as others - decent signal with slight fade at times.  Receiver was parked on 6925 USB.
