Title: Another noise on 43 meters
Post by: ChrisSmolinski on February 17, 2012, 2255 UTC
This is something I've been hearing off an on the last few months. I recorded it today at 2243 UTC. Looking at the SDR, it covers around 6900-6940 kHz. There is another signal that sounds exactly the same around 6770-6810 kHz.

Here is a recording:

Sure sounds the same as my recording. While I do hear this on 43m, I also hear it up on 20m too and usually louder.

I'm pretty sure this is some sort of a wide band digital mode. I'll keep an eye out for it popping up again.
