Title: JMH2 Japan 7793.1 USB 1000 UTC 26 Mar 2020
Post by: ChrisSmolinski on March 26, 2020, 1202 UTC
Not the best reception, but there's obviously a fax signal there hiding in the noise.  Now that I know roughly when to listen, I can check each morning and perhaps get better reception when conditions improve.

I used an AirSpyHF+ Discovery and 43mb folded dipole.

Chris - I've had similar (or maybe an iota better) copy of them here.  A few years back (when propagation was better of course) I often copied them nicely.

Receiving JMH2 again at 1030 UTC 27 Mar 2020, slightly better this time, I think I can actually see something in the noise!

This is just the kind of fax traffic needed to determine what dsp noise reduction, notch filtering, as well as overall bandwidth filtering can do to improve production. I expect miracles in the near future, as well as strongest sigs on whatever antenna you have is closest to vertical..
