Title: ICOM IC-718 100 Watts HF Amateur Base Transceiver ???
Post by: John Poet on April 01, 2020, 0133 UTC
Anyone ever used one of these?

Any comment on suitability for "non-standard" operations??

(If a friend of a friend told you all about it, that's cool too...)

Righhhht,  AM isn't much on most HF SSB transceivers--- and not expected here.

I've got a 740. But it's strictly a ham band transceiver of it's era that filtered out all that nasty stuff between bands.

Icom IC-7300 is $879 after rebate. That's a hell of a deal for a superb rig.
